Monthly support. Daily impact.
Kairos began with a simple gesture — a few teachers assembling food parcels for those in need. Today, it’s a trusted hub for food distribution and holistic care in Pretoria West, serving over 180 families with monthly support and much more.
The challenge
Extreme poverty in Pretoria West has left hundreds of families without reliable access to food, hygiene, and basic services.
Vulnerable groups — including children, elderly individuals, and single parents — face persistent insecurity.
Our response
Educational Empowerment
Sponsoring education from preschool to tertiary, including vocational training, boarding school placements, school supplies, and transport.
Employment Facilitation
Supporting unemployed parents through skills audits and job placement.
Essential Provisions
Providing food parcels, school feeding schemes, clothing, sportswear, and medication.
Family and Community Aid
Supporting single mothers with food, donating furniture to displaced families, and assisting high-school feeding programmes.
Over 180 families receive monthly food parcels, enhanced with protein-rich staples thanks to DT Foundation.

What's next?
Kairos is building toward a future where no family in our community goes hungry — and every household has the support they need to grow, learn, and thrive. We're working to deepen our reach, strengthen partnerships, and evolve a model of care that doesn’t just meet needs, but transforms lives.
“...support isn’t just about food — it’s about dignity, hope, and reminding people that they are not forgotten.”

“Together we are breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering individuals to build a brighter future.”
