God's Hands

Pretoria & Stellenbosch, South Africa

Scaling kindness, box by box.

Founded by Inge Venter at just 12 years old, God’s Hands has grown from a single food pack into a multi-city initiative spanning two provinces. Guided by faith and built on simple, compassionate action, it reaches those most in need with meals, dignity, and joy.

The challenge

Across Pretoria and Stellenbosch, vulnerable communities face daily struggles — not just with food and hygiene, but also with a deep erosion of hope.

In schools, on the streets, and in family homes, the need for consistent, compassionate support runs deep.

Our response

God’s Hands delivers practical care through a growing network of community projects, each rooted in Christian values and designed for meaningful, everyday impact. From providing vital nutrition to families in need, to supporting students and girls with essential supplies, and offering moments of belonging and encouragement through gifts and mentoring, these initiatives help build a foundation of dignity and hope where it is needed most.

Santafied is a Christmas initiative

Provides underprivileged children with gift boxes filled with stationery, books, and essentials. It’s the primary project currently supported by DT Foundation in partnership with God’s Hands.

DT foundation has donated

between 100 and 250 boxes annually towards this project since 2020, bringing joy and vital support to the children.

What's next?

God’s Hands is expanding its impact to new schools and underserved neighbourhoods.

“Direct Transact Foundation has played an invaluable role in extending the reach and impact of God’s Hands. When they joined our Santafied project, they didn’t just support it — they fully embraced it, packing between 100 and 250 boxes every year with thoughtful care. Direct Transact Foundation’s contribution has allowed us to dream bigger in how we can help others.”
